DANCE LOVE AND DIE WHILE WE'RE YOUNG

It's been a while since I last posted a mashup, so here it goes. This one is called Dance, Love And Die While We're Young, and it's by the one and only Marc Johnce. (Duh!) In case you're wondering, this beauty has 31 artists, and I believe they're all from 2012. If there's one thing I know, you can't go with Marc-fucking-Johnce. DJ Earworm who?

Artists featured include: One Direction, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Pixie Lott, Carly Rae Jepsen, Owl City, PSY, Katy Perry, Rihanna, David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Jason Derulo, Madonna, SIA, Kelly Clarkson, Taio Cruz, Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Flo Rida, Alicia Keys, and more...

PART OF ME REMIXED BY MIA MORETTI AND CAITLIN MOE

Haven't had time to post much, as I have been traveling a lot lately, and won't be home until the 3rd of April.
Moving on, this is a remix of Katy Perry's Part of Me done by Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe, and it is honestly one of my favorite remixes ever. Soo sick. And the best part of it is that you can download it for free, just by clicking the link below.
Let's hope these two ladies decide to DJ in Tokyo soon, as last year's show was cancelled due to the earthquake.

DJ EARWORM'S UNITED STATE OF POP 2011 WORLD GO BOOM

The moment we've all been waiting for: DJ Earworm's yearly mashup, United State of Pop 2011 (World Go Boom). This year it includes Adele, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Pink, Rihanna, Foster the People, and others!
Of course it's hard to top 2009's, and this one is not nearly as good, but it's not too bad either.

YOU CAN GET ADDICTED TO A CERTAIN KIND OF SADNESS

It's funny, and amazing at the same time, to see how far people go to have different music videos than all the others. And just in case you were wondering, the girl singing is NOT Katy Perry, although she sure sounds and looks like her.
Watch the crazy video for Somebody That I Used To Know by  Gotye and Kimbra below! Such a great song!

KATY PERRY MAKES HISTORY

The one and only Katy Perry made history this week, being the first female ever to have 5 number one songs on one album. Well deserved, and to celebrate, here's a new version of Last Friday Night (TGIF) featuring Missy Elliott.

RAGING LEVELS

This could easily be one of my favorite mashups of all time (along with Mashup Germany's). It is easy to put 14 songs together, but it is definitely not easy to make it sound this good. It takes time and skill. Here's Mochi Beats' Raging Levels

Artists featured: AVICII, Kanye West, Natalia Kills, Britney Spears, Ludacris, Soulja Boy, Beyonce, Salt n Pepa, Taylor Swift, Kid Cudi, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Mike Posner.

LIKE A VIRGIN MIGHT ON FRIDAY NIGHT

Last week, Mr. Pete Wentz posted this mashup by The Jane Doze, and I agree, it is pretty genius.
I've been trying to find a download link to this song, I'll post it as soon as I find one.

JAPAN GETS CALIFORNIA DREAMS

Last week, Katy Perry brought her California Dreams Tour (along with DJ Mia Moretti) to Tokyo, Japan. Although I was actually expecting a surprise set by DJ Mia Moretti (which unfortunately, did not happen), the opening act, DJ Skeet Skeet, was amaazing. Every second of the show was crazy, and it just kept getting better and better. I wish I could see it all again!

PS- Skeet Skeet is one of my favorite DJs, and he was one of my first posts ever, so it was crazy to finally see him live.

VINTAGE KATY PERRY

Exactly 10 years ago (Feb 2001), Katy Hudson performed at The Glass House, CA. Heres a short video of her performance. (if you only want to hear her sing, skip to 2:30)

In 2005, she released her video for Simple, which was filmed in Tokyo, Japan. What ever happened to this version of her? LOL.

Two things you probably didn't know about Katy Perry:
- Before she was famous, even before her hit single I Kissed A Girl, Katy Perry was Miley Cyrus' backup singer.
- Katy Perry has been friends with Kesha for years. Kesha was also on KP's Hot N Cold video.

NEW KATY PERRY FEAT. KANYE WEST

The new version of E.T. just came out! It will be Katy Perry's latest single featuring Kanye West, and it is almost as good as the original!

Here's a behind the scenes photo of the video, which will be released soon.

Grammy's Best Performance

The best performance of the Grammy's was definitely by Katy Perry. It was AMAZING. Not only was her performance crazy, but also THE VIDEO! So sweet of her to put her wedding video up there! And on Valentines day! This is too much for me. Her dress was also beautiful, but then again, you can't go wrong with Johnny Wujek.
PS- Catch Nicole Kidman singing along to Teenage Dream! Who would've guessed?

Here's a picture of her angelic appearance at the red carpet. Completely stunning!

NEW SAM SPARRO... IN A FEW WEEKS.

Everybody knows nothing will ever top Sam Sparro's Black and Gold, which by the way, even ms. Katy Perry has an amazing cover of. Anyway, I just heard Sam Sparro will be releasing a new album soon, and I have a feeling it will be one of the best albums of 2011!! So excited to hear new music from him!!

I hear there will be a lot of Brian Lichtenberg in his music videos, I really do hope that's true! Can't say no to Brian Lichtenberg!
