STARING AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR GLASS, HOPING ONE DAY YOU'LL MAKE A DREAM LAST

I will never understand how one simple song can be so damn beautiful. I feel like this is literally getting the words out of my mouth, without requiring me to even say a single word.
First time listening to Passenger last night, and I have literally played Let Her Go at least 21 times since then. I wonder how long it'll take me to get tired of it?

DYING YOUNG AND I'M PLAYING HARD, THAT'S THE WAY MY FATHER MADE HIS LIFE AN ART

Lana Del Rey released her new single Ride last night, which will be featured on Born To Die — The Paradise Edition along with 7 other new songs. Check it out below, it's gooooood!

ALL THOSE PEOPLE IN THAT MAGIC PLACE JUST DREAM OF FINALLY MEETING FACE TO FACE

There is honestly not a single song by Mozella that I haven't liked. Of course my favorite song by her will always be More of You, but this new track called Unplug, which she co-wrote with Tim Myers from One Republic, is not too far off from her best ones!

IF YOU CAN'T STAND TO FEEL THE PAIN THEN YOU ARE SENSELESS

Alex Ebert is just damn perfect. (In case his name doesn't sound too familiar, he is the lead singer of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, who also goes by Alexander on his solo work.)
Check out Truth, where he does an incredible job combining both indie and rap, which mind you, is definitely not an easy task to do.

FORGIVEN ALL YOU'VE GOT SO WON'T YOU DANCE UNDER THE SUN

This post is rather slightly inspired by Ashlyn Harris, as I (would like to) think she'd enjoy this.

Just came across this awesome song called Growing Up by Monter's Calling Home on Youtube, and damnn, these guys sure know how to rock. Both the lyrics and the video are also super sweet.

LUNGS GETS HEAVY, PEOPLE GET STILL, AIR TURNS BLACK, BLOOD FLOWS INTO THINGS

The more I listen to this song, the more I like it.
Deptfod Goth, otherwise known as Daniel Woolhouse, has become my latest obsession with his song People Get Still. A slightly similar sound to that of James Blake'sbut even better (if that even makes any sense.)

Ps. I'm trying to find a way to download this song legally, as I believe he has removed it from his SoundCloud after the 1000th download— bummer.

I FOUND A LOVER BUT I LOST MYSELF

I have joined the Brett Dennen club once again, and what better than coming back to my addiction with this song, Comeback Kid (That's My Dog). It may or may not help the fact that he's a ginger. (Let's face it, it's definitely a plus! Who doesn't love gingers!?)

I BELIEVE IN YOU AND ME AND EVERYTHING WE'LL EVER SEE AND DO

Here's a pretty sweet song by Matt Pond PA called Specks, which you may or may not recognize from the movie The Vow with Channing Tatum and Rachel Adams.

YES THERE'S A CHANCE THAT I'VE FALLEN QUITE HARD OVER YOU

I found this song on one of my playlists the other day, and have to admit I've had it on repeat ever since then. Landon Pigg is kind of awesome, and this song, Falling In Love at A Coffee Shop, just can't get any more cuter!
I guess the fact that it says everything I can't tell a certain person just makes the song even better.

THROWBACK TUESDAY: ADAM BRODY'S BIG JAPAN

Considering the fact that I'd been gone for two whole months, it is just fair to say I've got quite a bit of songs to share, so except a few posts (at least this week anyway!)
This is a response to my previous post, as I'm pretty sure none of you know Big Japan, unless you are a hardcore fan of The O.C., in that case you should know who they are.
Here's Rise and fall of Bill and All The Fish In The Sea Are Stupid Sluts Anyways- I know, what a nice name for a song, right?

CARLY RAE JEPSEN IS BIG IN JAPAN

Last week Ms. Carly Rae Jepsen got to spend a total of 60 hours in Japan, where she performed at a few TV shows, then had a 'secret showcase' just a few hours before flying back to the U.S.
It's funny how one song can make you even "big in Japan"! (Yes, there goes a slight reference to Dirt Nasty or Adam Brody's band, which ever you like best.)
Jepsen sang about 5 songs off her new record KISS with her band, then took some time for a little Q&A session in front of about 1000 screaming fans.
I got to spend a few minutes with the lady backstage, and to my surprise, I'm only about a head taller than her! ha

PS. Blame my lack of posts on not having a computer.

TAKE MY BREATH AS YOUR OWN, TAKE MY EYES TO GUIDE YOU HOME

Remember that movie with Adam Brody, Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried in it? Yeah the shittiest movie Diablo Cody's ever made, Jennifer's Body…? Well, I just thought I'd bring this song back for ya. Bad movie; decent music. Here's Through The Trees by Ryan Levine (Or Low Shoulder in the movie.)
