LANA DEL REY COVERS CHELSEA HOTEL NO. 2

Sorry about this, two Lana Del Rey posts in a row might be a bit too much for some of you… But she just released a new song today, and my day just suddenly got a whole lot better, so it's definitely worth posting.
This is a cover of Leonard Cohen's Chelsea Hotel No. 2, (which, throwing a fun fact in here, is apparently about Janis Joplin).
The video is awesome, and pretty Lana Del Rey-y, but it won't come up on my feed so I'll update it once it works. :)

There's nothing like looking through my 'Favorites' section on YouTube and finding awesome songs like this one! This one's by Sing Fang (who also happens to be a member of Seabear), and it's called Walk With You.

This is by far the BEST version of Rihanna's Diamonds. I have nothing to say apart from the fact that she is so damn perfect.

I'm developing an obsession with The Cure, and it's getting pretty bad!! I can't get enough of this song called Pictures of You. I'd say a song that's over 8 minutes long is usually way too fucking love, but this   is just pure genius. I love when a song manages to make me shiver even after the 10th time listening to it in a row.

INTRODUCING… GOVS (JOSIAH BIRRELL)

The 'Free Download' section of this blog was looking a bit lonely, so I decided to look for some new songs today to fill it up a bit. The first song I found was this one, Merseybeat, by a little Australian man known as GOVS, or just simply Josiah Birrell. I can't believe this doesn't even have 300 views on YouTube; this world is kind of sad sometimes… Anyway, give it a go and download it if you wish to.

INTRODUCING… DAMIEN JURADO

This is definitely my jam of the week! Can't remember where I found it, but it was on my YouTube history a while ago, so I gave it a go the other day and fell in love. As if one Damien (Rice) wasn't enough… Damien Jurado just made my week better with Museum of Flight. ☺
